We are a proud family-owned and operated business located in Fortville IN, just outside of Indianapolis! Although Speed-n-Shine was officially established in 2019, the story of its inception can be followed back through multiple generations of vehicle enthusiasts. From our Great Grandfather who purchased a red 66 Pontiac Catalina Ventura that has been worked on and passed down through the generations to our family, to our Grandfather who drag raced for years in his 20's and taught our Dad to turn wrenches as soon as he was old enough to learn and help, to our Father, who at a young age was detailing and customizing cars and motorcycles, polishing motorcycle frames as a side hustle for years, customized and owned multiple motorcycles and ultimately ended up road racing. Our Mother also grew up with her Father having a passion for Cadillacs and making anything clean and shiny. Although her father was in a wheelchair, he had a fun way of gathering the troops to get busy cleaning and detailing his vehicles and anything else he could think of. He taught both our Mother and Father, who have been together since high school, to do everything with excellence and as close to perfection as possible. If it wasn't done right, you'd absolutely be re-doing whatever it was.
After many years together our parents got married and shortly after had us both, just over a year apart. Both of us boys have had a love of shiny fast things from the time we can remember. Between our Great Grandfather, Grandfathers, and Parents, we have learned to be passionate about vehicles and their care. We were taught to turn wrenches and effectively maintain our own ATVs and trucks, keeping them looking better than we bought them. We have bought multiple trucks, customized them, and sold them to start on the next project or a bigger better motor. In 2016 our Father purchased his custom truck and we started taking it to shows. After exploring the best products to keep it looking spotless and show-ready, his love for Adam's polishes was born, and soon that passion spread to us all. As time progressed and the truck was bringing home awards, we started to detail vehicles as a side hustle, offering others that same exceptional feeling of best in show vehicle clean. As we started to build our clientele and increase the services we offered to customization and additional protective coatings, we knew this business was something that we were super passionate about and decided to make this into a full-time family business. At that time, Speed-n-Shine was created and the planning began. We've been to Adam's Polishes headquarters multiple times, trained with their best installers, work with Adam's show team at events, and have the honor of calling Adam and many of their incredible team, great friends. Passionate enthusiasts gravitate toward one other and we have met and become fast friends with some incredible folks along our journey and are looking forward to many years of relationship building, continued growth, and success. As a team that strives for excellence in all that we do, our desire to see our customers blown away by their vehicle transformation drives us to perfection and provide best-in-class techniques and service every day. We’re back at it in June with a unique rally that will prove to be absolutely exceptional. This time, we’re calling it the VINTAGE 10000. On Saturday, June 18th, let’s get together for what may be the most interesting road rally of the year. Why you ask? Like our other rallies, this will begin on Saturday morning and include a 90 min drive with unique destination of Indianapolis Motor Speedway where you’ll enjoy the Brickyard Vintage Racing Invitational. Your registration includes the rally (of course), as well as access to the SVRA Brickyard Vintage Racing Invitational for everyone in the cars (not a typo), designated infield parking, and a lap of the road course at the end of the day. And, you can come back the next day (Sunday) to see the finals.
We’ll feature an all-new route between Carmel and the Motor Speedway, but the same easy load-in process, the same straight-forward, Google Maps-based Route Guide, and the same gorgeous drive through Indiana’s Spring foliage.
It might be the best $75 road rally/day at the races in the country. 33% of your entry fee will go to support the work of local 501c3 Meals on Wheels of Central Indiana.
As ever, we have three run groups: 9:00am, 9:30am and 10:00am. These will determine when you arrive and assure that we have a well-staged and well-paced experience.

Let’s get together for what may be the first driving event of the year.
